Our Use of Artificial Intelligence Customer acknowledges that AI-generated outputs are probabilistic in nature and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or omissions, and Customer assumes sole responsibility for all decisions, actions, or omissions based on such outputs.
Bella shall not be liable for any reliance placed on AI-generated outputs.Bella uses artificial intelligence to power its core capabilities. Our platform leverages large language models (LLMs) to manage your student information system (SIS), for compliance tracking, automate attendance, create digital forms, and serve as a proactive alerting system—enabling the creation of tailored AI assistants – or, as we prefer to call it, a digital employee – without the need for code. These AI assistants are designed to provide intelligent recommendations, streamline workflows, and adapt dynamically to your needs, all while operating within security frameworks.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision making.
To the extent Bella accesses or maintains education records as defined under FERPA, Bella is designated as a “school official” (as set forth in 34 CFR § 99.31(a)(1)(i)(B)) with a legitimate educational interest. Bella will use such records solely to provide the contracted services and shall maintain reasonable safeguards to protect the data (see Security). Upon termination of the agreement, Bella will return or delete such records as directed by the institution. In acting as a “school official,” we may collect, use, and disclose personal information that is under the control of your school and is therefore governed by your school’s privacy policy. We encourage you to contact your school directly for more information about its privacy practices.
We may collect the following categories of personal information (a) directly from you (such as when you register an account or contact us), (b) from third-parties (such as when you interact with our social media accounts), (c) from the device and browser that you use to access the Service, and (d) from cookies and similar technologies.

We collect the personal information and content you post on the Services (e.g., on the Bella Blog).

If you are an eligible student at a client school and wish to access and inspect, correct, consent to disclosures (with some exceptions), or file a complaint, please contact your school administrator to submit a request. Upon request by the school administrator, Bella will then (i) provide you access to your personal information, (ii) correct such information, and/or (iii) process your disclosure.
If Bella learns that we have inadvertently collected personal information from an eligible student beyond what was requested, Bella will delete such information as soon as possible. 11.
We maintain reasonable physical, administrative, and technical measures designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration, or unintentional destruction. Additionally, Bella has taken commercially reasonable steps to develop, implement, and maintain a written information security program designed to comply with the Safeguards Rule of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (16 C.F.R. Part 314). Key elements of our information security program may include, but are not limited to, assigning a qualified individual to oversee the program, conducting periodic risk assessments, implementing controls such as access controls and encryption, regular monitoring and testing of safeguards, security awareness training for personnel, and maintaining a written incident response plan.
